Paddling with Pride

A unique opportunity to get around the city – by canoe! Thanks to our friends at British Canoeing, the Birmingham Canal Old Line will become the route to commute this Sunday. Once you’ve purchased your one-day On The Water membership covering insurance etc (£5), the session is free to attend and your craft awaits at the Roundhouse.

Whether you’ve paddled before or are completely new to the water, whether you’re LGBTQ+ or an ally, this is an event for everyone. Flags, face paint and rainbow T-shirts are encouraged, with the Pride Paddle Parade set to be the highlight of the day.
