Volunteers are key to the success of Pride House Birmingham

From meeting and greeting our visitors to helping with logistics, our volunteers will shape the experience of those attending Pride House Birmingham. They will make all the difference to our success.

Volunteering for Pride House is the perfect way to make your Games experience this summer truly memorable. You’ll be a valued part of a team helping to create a space that’s fun and welcoming, with a packed programme of activities that promises to be full of surprises!

We are holding two Open Days, which you can attend to find out more about Pride House Birmingham. Choose from either 29th May or 5th June.

We ask that potential volunteers are aged 18 or over.

For the first time in history of any Commonwealth Games, Pride House will have a presence in the Birmingham 2022 Athletes’ Villages. Our representatives will be a point of contact for Pride House Birmingham for athletes and support staff. They will share information about Pride House and answer any questions about Birmingham and its LGBTIQ+ communities.

Athletes Village volunteers will be subject to Birmingham 2022 security checks and will need a valid UK passport. They will also need to make a commitment to volunteer for at least a week between 20th July and 10th August. Volunteer opportunities exist in Athletes Villages in Birmingham and Coventry.

You will also need to attend a Volunteer Open Day in Birmingham on 29th May

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for our Athletes’ Village pop-ups, please email: info@pridesports.org.uk to arrange a chat with the executive team.
